It can handle pretty much any video type -> DivX (AVI). However, it won't really convert from DivX back to something else. I'm pretty sure they've got a trial you can see if you like it.

I would like to be able to convert from one type to another. That seems to be the main issue right now....

for instance on my computer.
- The AVI version of the video works, however when I make it a WAV, it crashes the computer.
- On two other peoples computers (run as tests). The AVI version works; however, it's sounds only, no video. And when they try the WAV version, it crashes the computer.

WMV I think you mean, but that's ok.

Have you tried using the gspot tool to see what codec it's using and if the other machines are missing it?

I use adobe premire for a lot of my video editing. quite good and very powerfull

I want that, but not willing to dish out the money on it. I've tried downloading it a few times on limewire, but there's always something missing or not working with it.
