Default NoVA/MD Lot purchases

Anyone know a good resource on looking for lots purchase up there? trying to build a house and all the ones down here i dont like.

depends on how far north you could go. i live in north central md and houses go for alot cheaper than the southern areas. check carroll county and northern baltimore county.

There's some pretty nice lots in Harford County

That's a bit of a distance from NOVA though

Yeah trying to keep it close to NoVA or near baltimore and gaithersburg (sp?)

dont' think you'll have much luck in nova.. unless you go out past manassas or go far down past woodbridge....

You've gotno prayer for findind a lot in Gaithersburg or anywhere in Montgomery County unless you have real big bucks or someone you know is sellig it. The builders snatch them up before they hit the market or the price is way out of whack with reality. Best way is buy a house with a sybdividable lot and build your new house on the lot and sell the first house. Your other option is to buy a teardown.
