Well, I get to sleep well tonight.
The closing I have been working at for the last three days finally went through.
*phew*
I am not used to these big dollar, ultra complicated deals. Houses are way more simple; less people involved. Commercial real estate has sooooo many players I need a friggen score card.
Anywho... One down... Many, many to go...

From my research I thought alcohol had calories, but were not carbs. I thought therefore alcohol did not raise your blood sugars as high-glycemic carbs do...

"Alcoholic beverages contain few carbohydrates, but the reason Dr. Agatston doesn't allow them in Phase 1 is due to the way alcohol is converted by your body: It turns into sugar. This will cause your blood sugar to spike. Remember, the purpose of Phase 1 is to level out your blood sugar so cravings for "bad" carbs will subside and you'll begin losing weight."
found that on about.com

I can search but I know since SBD says to not drink alcohol for this very reason...
