Dang... That's not cool.

Glad you made it home safe, though. You were out visiting Jeff, right?
No, I went to see my step-mother. I did grab some stuff from him- saw him for about 5 minutes. Had we known that noone was going to order anything, I would have had him ship the stuff for the VA's. Either way, I was still going to see my dad's wife.

There is something really wrong with my car but I can't figure out what it is...

It makes like a errrrr noise when braking and the steering feels really wierd... It seems to get better and just about go away after driving for a little while.

I just re-bleed the brakes and did a visual inspection with all the wheels off and I don't see anything wrong.... hmmm

Sticky caliper sliding pin(s)? When were they last rebuilt? Mileage? Usage?

You can regrease them without doing a rebuild. FWIW, I just buy reman'd ones instead of rebuilding mine. Did it once- isn't worth the hassle, imo.

Too late of notice. Still have to buy table saw and Cinco de Mayo decorations for the center. Am waiting for the post office to open so that I can get their change-of-address packet. In it is a coupon for 10% off Lowe's. That's about $50 off the saw.
