If someone calls me and im busy, I try to answer, cause you never know how important it is, or if its a quick questions.
I personally hate voice mails. You have to call to get them etc...
SMS Email etc FTW... the message is right there, and I can respond in a second.

I would just text it to him but this particular person is not at all tech savy and has NO idea how to retrieve a text.

My thing is the value people place on time. Especially when they think that their time is more valuable than mine. By shutting me down like that, he had valued his time above mine and will now expect me to repeat myself when I see him again or he calls me back.
Now, if I had just left a message, he could have listened to it and neither of us would have wasted a second; I would have said it once and he would have listened to me once.
But now, since his time is more valuable, all he did was shut me up, made me feel bad for interrupting (like I could have known I was), and wasted all that energy.
I guess I just don't understand.
