does anyone know how hard, or if its even possible to repair a carbon fiber lip? riding into work today a chunk of ice about the size of a football fell out of the wheel well of the truck in front of me. wasnt anywhere i could go, so my lip took it at about 70mph. its still in 1 piece, but there are several (looks like stress cracks) and 1 part (size of a quarter) where all the clear came off and you can actually touch the cf. pics will follow when i get home tonight.

My CF lip is pretty beat up too. It has a lot of cracks and a few places where it is missing the clear also. I pretty much have it on to protect my bumper and offer some looks

I'm not too worried about how it looks since its an unpainted piece anyways. Just post up your pics and I'll let you know if mine is worse or not...

No, not because of being a CO again. Towards fall of last year I began curtailing my comments. Yes, having the title in one's avatar should make them a bit more conscience of how they represent the Mid-A all the time.

Still, it was funny!

1) Ok
2) Yea i've kind of noticed a lack of "ruthlessness" in your posts for a while
3) I agree that you should try to represent Mid-A a bit better with that title, but I also think you shouldn't have to worry about it in your own forum where everyone knows you and especially not in HAW of all places

4) Yes... yes it was funny
