Yeah, but then you have to worry about exchange fees and all that junk.

Plus I am cheap, so I wouldn't get it anyway.

Meh... That is common in dealing with watches. There are only a handful of folks making them in the US anymore.

That's how Globalization works. If it ain't made here, it was imported and currency needed to be exchanged somewhere in the process. You are either paying for it and you don't realize it (because the importer built it into their "retail" price) or you act as the importer yourself (and do the exchange yourself).
