Just got a quote for a whole house humidifier. Apparently, I am in the wrong field. I should be in HVAC.

Isn't that what your dad did for a living?

We had one added to our system when we had the whole shebang replaced. It was a tad on the pricey side at $500 (especially given what it actually is) but, I'll tell you what... SO worth it.

All the trades are stupid expensive. Why? Can you install a whole house humidifier yourself? No? Then now you know why.

We use something like this:

Cheaper and you can keep an eye on the mold.

I could. My issue is time, or lack of it. I feel like I need to pay people to do ish now because I can't spend family time monkeying with a humidifier. (I know, I know... so stop complaining. But that's what HAW is for, right?)
