Man that's a lotta tools.. Me personally I tend to prefer wired for saws and less frequently used tools vs. batteries. I know the batteries won't last forever and I don't use them often enough nor really need the portability to make it worth it..

Sometimes you just need the torque a plugged in tool provides.

I do not like battery powered tools unless I use them regularly. It always seems like the battery is dead when I go to use it...

One other interesting tidbit is that the move to li-ion batteries means you shouldn't let your batteries fully discharge. A lot of people don't realize this. So, if you leave a battery sitting in the garage for 6 months off a charger, you could damage some cells.

Yea... I did know that. It is also bad if you leave them in the charger all the time. I have several battery powered work lights that I have sacrificed to the charger gods.

My little 12v stuff does pretty much anything I need. If I need a little more oopmph I use my ancient 15.6 Panasonic

Hey, Mark...

Are you noticing a bumper acorn crop this year? The oak behind my house is making an EPIC mess and the squirrels are getting fat.

I just realized that, on September 12th, 2015, I was in Yellowstone National Park. Looking at my pictures really, really, really makes me wish I was still there!
