If there's anything good these days about consoles, it's the "unification" of architectures that should allow backward compatibility with each new console. Since everything is running on INTEL/CISC processors, there's probably very little "porting" required. It's been some time since I compared consoles, but how does the Sony online "experience" compare to xbox? That seemed to be one thing that microsoft had going for it back when the xbox 360 launched.. Obviously that was some time ago and maybe they're both virtually equal..?
The new xbone hardware is coming probably next year around when the PS4.5 comes out. The S just adds HDR and a few other things most people don't really need.

I like PS4 better, but I have more games for xbone because they always seem to be cheaper on there.

So, this is happening? Officially?
Yes. You must have missed it... I posted up a bunch about it over the last couple weeks.

Must have. I poke my head in every now and then but work has been keeping me super duper busy.

Just sent an e-mail to all the folks on my guest list for Saturday... At least I think I did.

I'd really like to start the party later in the day due to the heat forecast for Saturday. I am thinking like 5 or 6 PM. Is that going to be a problem for anybody???

Most folks that I talked to about coming didn't really seem interested in the time - just wanted to know when it was. I am hoping it is no BFD that I am moving it.
