The rear wing is badass and they finally made it decent looking. I would love to DD one, now I just need to make a ton of money to afford it.
Would love a brand new one, will settle for a used one.
Unless they changed it in the last couple years, it takes 9+ quarts of oil, which you don't add all at once (add 6qts, drive, add a few more, drive, add a few more, drive), and need a Porsche dealer to do unless you have their specialized software.

I goofed BIG TIME.

Should have driven the S2000 today - I had no idea the forecast was as nice as it is.
If only there was a way to see the weather in the future, not just the present.

the prices of the service vary, so in some cases yes you're right the cost > benefit; however, considering it takes almost double the oil a normal car takes and is only due for 10k mile changes, it is negligible if you find the right dealer.

You are right. I should rephrase that. At 3:45 in the morning, about all I can focus on is where my coffee is and NOT going out the door nekkid. What car I am going to drive and what the weather might be like are really the very last two things on my mind.

Any car can do a 10k interval with good oil and filter.

If the weather is good enough, you could go out the door nekkid.

It goes back to that control thing. I don't want to have to bring my car in for service. I like having the option of doing it myself. I am sure Porsche voids your warranty if you get it done somewhere else. And German electronics fail as much as politics--so you need that warranty.

This is the same line of thought I was in yesterday with the HOA's.

I like having control, or the illusion of it. I like having the ability to make my own choices without help from others.
