My buttons always looked minty fresh, because I used the cruise maybe three times. Twice to confirm I didn't like it, and once to make sure it still worked before I sold it.
I use cruise A LOT - especially during the four years I commuted to Columbia. The stretch of I-70 between Frederick and Ellicott City got B O R E I N G.


Plus my garage door opener is wired to the Cancel button.

It is a Modifry thing. I did it a long time ago and it has been very, very reliable. Better than dealing with batteries.
