Apparently I am now the "go-to guy" for Splunk. How the hell did that happen? I've configured like two or three machines. Apparently that is like two or three more than anybody else... *sigh*

I ARE SMART!

Selling the S2000 because the wife needs a car soon and I don't feel like daily driving the S. Need to find a fun, reliable, daily for the commute that is capable of handling snow a few times a year. I'm thinking like a RSX-S or a Civic Si since Hondas are all I've ever had, but need suggestions... Go!

If you want that, I'd go something AWD. I'm thinking Subaru. Maybe not the Sti, but an WRX would do you good.

I'm not planning on taking it out west, just the snows around here. I've had enough luck with FWD in the past.

Also WRX = too expensive. trying to keep it under $10k because I'm cheap

Under $10k, front wheel drive, sensible yet fun... Honda Civic is about the only thing that comes to mind. Nissan, I guess, has a little bit of a rep for performance... Maybe a Rabbit or GTI?

Since you aren't necessarily looking new, I would go to a Carmax and drive anything that fits your needs. Best place to go, IMHO, when you don't know exactly what you want because almost everything is there.
