They are just not safe to ride. Even if you are the best rider out there, and you make no mistakes, and you have all the training in the world, and you know what you're doing, you are at the mercy of the stupidity of the dumbest driver on the road at that time. I'm sorry, but bumper stickers wont make other people better drivers. Loud ass pipes wont make other people better drivers. Your best bet is to insulate yourself in a crash cage for the inevitable interaction with a pimple faced teen texting meme's to his best fried while crossing the double yellow.
