I can see your fire from my house!
That's the plan!

Buy a 2TB (or bigger) external! Keep apps on internal drive, keep games on external drive.

I got the XboxOne with the 500 GB drive and, like I said, it is something like 50% free still so I guess I got some time. I have a TON of games I want to play but don't make the time to do it so it will probably stay that way until it gets cold out again. We'll see... Maybe I'll buck up for some extra storage then.

I wonder if I could wire it up to a NetApp?
Sure if you want to pay millions in netapp license fees

I just realized mine is just about full last night... no idea how that happened I just have a couple of games. Time to hook up an external drive to it I guess
This is the one I got. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0...?ie=UTF8&psc=1

I'd like to avoid doing the external drive thing for as long as possible. My cats play in and around the TV stand and have a history of breaking my xbox gear.

Home Depot wouldn't try to screw me that bad, would they?
Yes, they are in the business of getting the most money out of your pockets. Stones are big scary things, lets let the HD do the cutting for you! (even though there is not cutting--its just the fear of the non-existent cutting.

BTW, those top corner stones look ripe for falling off. Is it loose stacked or do you glue it together?
I agree and I will probably glue. They don't state in the instructions to use glue but it was recommended in the reviews and I thought I would especially since I am leaving out the insert - although I am not so sure it would hold much anyways. I also thought about leaving out one of the mini's at the bottom middle on each side. Maybe take the other one and lay it flat. The idea would be to provide for some airflow to make the fire more efficient.

Glue?

Yes. Glue. More accurately, "Construction adhesive." Works great... Don't pinch your fingers together if they are covered in the stuff.

Ah, I never considered that to be "glue", more like an adhesive caulk, but yea I gotcha
