As I understand it, I pretty much have to go with a 2-stage blower because of the gravel driveway. I can't remember exactly why but a single stage can't cope with that. Ariens blowers are re-branded Husqvarna units and are generally considered to be great for Harry Homeowner types such as myself.

I admit that it is a luxury item that I don't "need" but, damnit, I ain't getting any younger and if this year is going to be as bad as the weather forecasters have been hinting about, it is bordering on a "need."
I am SO not shoveling 20 inches plus of snow from that 80 foot driveway AGAIN.

We have been through this... Jeeps are no good for moving snow. Besides, the plow package is way more than a grand.
