Do you want to buy mine?
I have a good amount of experience with one, I can't say its been the greatest experience for me. I installed the unit myself.
It took a lot of tweaking to get right and when it was working good it didnt warm the house as much as I would a have liked and I was using ~ 10 to 12 bags a week
I put the unit in my unfinished basement (1500 SF) and the concrete floor and walls absorbed a ton of the heat I think. I just didnt have a good place for it upstaitrs
It does put a lot of heat out but it needs to be in the living space, not below it.
Getting pellets is a pita, buying bulk is the best way, buy that is a pallet and you need a truck to do that. I borrowed the company E350 van for one Pallet once, the money saved on the pallet was used up on gas for the truck.
You need a place to the pellets cheap and a place to store the bags,
The bags of pellets are a bit messy with all the saw dust you get.
Let me know if you have more questions.

You need a big shop vac with super fine filters and super fine filter bags for one. The stoves generate a lot of ash which is very fine and must be vacuumed out of the unit every few days.
Make sure all the ash is cold and not still burning (ask me how I know this)
You also need to scrape the pellet holder piece and even soak it in dish soap to get the caked on crud off of it.
Also, you need to clean out the exhaust vent, I fabed up a connector to my electric blower intake and pulled tons of ash out of the vent.

Tractor Supply is where I got my pellets. They usually had them. but ran out sometimes. They had the best prices by far.
Different types of pellets burn differently. You have to tweak the pellet stove like a carburetor to get the mixture right. Well beyond what the manual told you.

It is/was.
Now had I went to a pellet stove store and paid 3K for the expensive stoves and paid someone else to set it up maybe that's better.
But the maintenance is still there no matter what
There is a pellet stove/heating forum where I learned a ton (after I bought a unit) I will find it and link it for you here Zeke.
