Morning, Jeff at least you aren't racking up the miles anymore.

Last week I had to be at Fort Belvoir at 6:30 AM, There is a ton of traffic at 5:00 AM heading East on 66. I never want to do that again.

Yea... An accident early on 7 that caused a backup on 9. There was then a second accident on 9. FUBAR'd EVERYTHING.

I heard that the accident on 7 had been cleared so I bailed to that route. All lanes were open on 7 but the backup was pretty bad. I had no choice but to sit in it.

I have had to make that trip a couple of times. My current "agency" is down there... Traffic hasn't been too bad for me but I have not been going as early as you. I usually make my appointments for 7:30 to 8 or so.

Sitting in traffic like that is torturing what is left of my clutch. I'm honestly not sure which is worse... Miles or clutching in traffic.

I try to make them for 11 usually, no traffic at all. I found that driving in the dark at 0 thirty in the AM is dangerous, Hence the accidents.
