Sam killed the Swap Meet thread about the hard top group by. Looks like the justification is that the OP is not a vendor...

I guess that fits with site policy. I'm not going to complain just on the grounds that I think the idea of the group buy was dodgy.

Yea... I mean, if it went well, that would be AWESOME but I just don't see it going well. Caveat emptor and all that but still...

I do have to say that I am a little confused as to why it was closed. If a bunch of people want to get together and organized a good deal on something, that shouldn't be a violation of site policy? Perhaps they should have just organized in the main Mid-A forum? Nobody was selling anything other than an idea or a willingness to make some contacts to put it together. That would make it a "violation" of that sub-forum but not a no-no for the entire site?
