And I was thinking of making Bobbie do it since I did all the high-wire stunts.

I finally got the Audi over to my buddies house, After 7+ months of sitting the rear wheel were locked up tight and the battery was dead as a door nail since the hood latch was locked up tight as well. Had to bounce the car off the truck, finally got the hood open and hooked a big honking charger/jumper to the battery and finally got it started long enough to break the wheels free. Since the belt tensioner broke from the alternator if you disconnected the charger the car would cut out. My buddy carried the big ass charger around next to the car while I steered around with no power steering in an AWD vehicle and finally got it to the lift. Going to pull the fron clip off tonight and then decide how far we are going, maybe pull the whole motor so I can get tot he turbos and do a fully rebuild or just say screw it and get it running again.

It's got oil leaking in several places and it was due for belts and water pump anyway before the tensioner broke. In order to do the belts you have to disconnect the front clip so it is a big job on it's own. It is not a wise financial move but the wife likes the car and does not like the newer ones so worth it for me.

Then of course there is the temptation to modify it more than it already is.

Well at least they designed it so you could detach the clip and put it in a service position. It doesn't help they jammed a twin turbo v-6 into the space designed for a 4 cylinder.
