Actually, my car will be out of commission if it snows at all. Despite having snow tires on for longer than I'd care to admit, I got a flat on one of the rear tires recently, so I'm temporarily back on summer tires until I order new snow rears.

If some attacker is powerful enough to steal my encrypted data from somewhere like crashplan, they could probably just take it straight from my Synology too (I bet it would be easier that way. I'm no security expert).

Five or six inches of snow around here is enough to bring everything to a grinding halt. I cannot imagine what seven feet of the stuff would do. Economies would crumble... Grocery stores would look like a scene from The Walking Dead... Travel would be impossible... We wouldn't survive.
