It was my own fault, and very stupid, but I'm going to be back with it soon

TSM is, I believe, Tivioli Storage Manager. It is an IBM product and competitor to to Symantec NetBackup (the system I know). Still, they all work pretty much the same.

All IT shops are willing to train for the hard to fill positions. This definitely counts. I've worked with people who know less about infrastructure support than you do, Alex. Seriously.... I wouldn't worry too much about that. This sounds to me like an awesome foot-in-the-door type position. It will probably suck but it will definitely lead to something much better.

Good luck... Read up on Tivoli and PLEASE get back to me if you have ANY questions. If you can show you know something when you go in the door, it will go a very, very long way.
We use TSM here.

I want to make a crack about "sleeping with the boss' something-something" but didn't seem appropriate.

Hope you find something soon, Steve.

Punching out at the wrong time clock, and being accused of stealing money from the company.

I looked at the info on that link a little more. Looks like it is for an older version of TSM (6.1). Here is a link for the newer version (7.1). Might be better but who knows what version they are actually running.
