Yes I totally agree. They quoted me $150 to Floriduh and $175 to Texas about two months ago. Now when I'm ready to make moves its DOUBLE the price. Oh and by the way, they're being shipped to Jersey. Yeah. WTF indeed.

Finally got my old MacBook reformatted and running Plex Media Server. Pulling all content via gigabit ethernet from my main machine. It is SO awesome and works with my Harmony remote. I have found my new media solution.

I had no idea this old cheesy MacBook (13" white) even output full 1080p, tho it only really likes 720p (which is mighty fine). And it does full digital passthrough. Win all around.
