These guys are insane! No locking differentials? Not even a winch!?!?

Definitely a great read. I just got through the part about bouncing the truck off the walls on the side of the road to prevent getting stuck as they constantly rolled up onto two wheels. Insane.

Then again, there is something magical about getting trough impossible obstacles. The improvisation, the stress, the hard labour.. Great stuff! A winch would kinda spoil the fun ;-)

2 1/2 hours of uninterrupted concentration later, and I read the whole damn thing.

I wish I had it in me to take a trip like that -- the whole two year, half way around the world trip. What an experience that must have been.

I'm crazy enough to do it, my wife not so much. Heck, I would like to sell all of my shit and do it around north america.
