Yea, I haven't figured out how I am going to get licenses here for the older Macs yet. I can buy them direct from Apple, but I need a minimum of 20 which is a PITA. After I installed it on Christina's computer I went to make a copy of the install and was like WTF its deleted??? Then I remembered I had a copy still in the last time machine backup and all was good.

With Lion Server so cheap I was stoked. I was actually going to try it out. But, I learned they dropped Windows client auth support. I was hoping to let Stephanie's laptop authenticate to it and centralize the home directories.

I know... I know... I admit that I have been neglecting my relations. I has the ashamed and the sorry. For what it is worth, I have been mostly ignoring Evan and Aaron, too.

You cannot even begin to imagine the amount of crap have been handed to "accomplish." Whenever I ask for help, it ends up being more work to manage the "assistance" than it is to do the work (with a few exceptions - Aaron was HUGE help last week). My team is mostly useless and gives me nothing but excuses. Frustrated Jeffy is frustrated.

As you all know, I suffer from extreme over-dedication. This has resulted in me pretty much giving up all of my free time to get my work done. *sigh*

Anywho... [/rant]

don't feel bad, i figure that if anyone on my team was fired they wouldn't be able to get a job and McDonald's, even the retards at McDonald's can fill up the ketchup dispensers.

I have filled my hand holding quote for the next 6 weeks in the past 5 days alone.

Yea I haven't used Lion server yet, but from what I can tell it looks like it may suck. I am starting to test out linux on our Apple xserves as a potential alternative. Why would you want to have central home dirs on a laptop though? That doesn't seem very mobile.
