Would it be bad to use 5W30 instead of 10W30 synthetic oil?

Yes, but valve adjustment did not go as planned so that needs to be finished first. It's a long drive to my parents' place where the car is sitting now (Woodbridge, VA) so I wouldn't ask that of you. I can just pick the coilovers up after work one night this week maybe? I need to figure out payment, too. Pretty sure I am going to need to PayPal you. I think I saw that you'd accept PayPal in your thread? Will go back and check that in a bit.

At the least, it shouldn't matter during warm weather months since they're both 30 weight oils.

When are you planning to do the valve adjustment? I'd like to help/observe/drink some beer if you don't mind. (Assuming it's sometime I could make it. No worries if not). I want to do my own valve adjustment, and seeing it in person would be a big confidence booster for it. I'm a bit nervous as it is.
