Does El Sr. Altojefe need hub rings in the back to run Ap2 rear wheels that have been bored to fit the front hubs?

I believe you do. The hub rings will make the wheel sit perfectly. plus you dont want to have the stress of the wheel on the lugs and thread when it should be sitting on the hub itself.

See... This is why I never messed with custom wheels.

*sigh*

Lou... I'm still interested, though. I'll either just use them for auto-x (most likely) or do the whole ring ding thing at some later date.

Yes, so they will fit. But he can't rotate them.
I thought they would still fit on the rear even after they were bored out. The wheels ride on the studs/lug nuts not the hub.

Or am I totally wrong in thinking this?
they will still fit on the rear but will not be hub centric so will now ride on the lugs instead of the hub. thats how 99% of ppl run their wheels any way. Or you could be fancy and bore all 4 wheels and use hubcentric rings.

If I am understanding Lou correctly, all four are already bored out. That would mean that I'd just need rings for the rears, right? Do those rings move from wheel to wheel or do they press into the set I put on the rear?

Sorry for all the n00b questions. I has the hate for wheels...
