thats how it is here with production. the company wants high numbers of product being produced. normally the first shift of the day works at a normal to fast pace because they know that when the clock reaches a certain time they get to go home. now the second shift is completely different. alot of the people on second shift want overtime. if they work at the same pace as the first that means they will get done earlier, and less overtime. so the way they look at it is this: if i work faster i get less money. they see no reason in being motivated to work. if anything they lose when they work harder.

My point is that when you see how well the organization you are a part of does at the end of the year (we made millions last year) and you get NONE of it, you get a little pissed. That is all I am trying to say.

My boss suggested many things when I started working here. He even suggested a few more over the last year and a half. NONE of it happened. Where is my motivation, then, to push the paper?
at least you made money, something not all companies in the housing field is doing... and at least you didn't lose 3 billion like we did

BTW brad you can tell lauren this

3 am is considered the "devil's hour" because many deaths usually occurs between 3-5 am. A study was conducted as to why more deaths occur early in the morning (but before sunrise) compared to any other hours of the day or night. It was discovered that your body and your immune system is actually more vulnerable between 3-5 am.
If a very sick patient had terminal illness, they would usually pass away early in the morning when their body is at the weakest point. Same explanation applies to any person whose got into a serious car accident, they may survive the accident if it happened during the day (that is if there were any chances of survival, this theory does not apply to people who died instantly after the car collision, it only applies to patients who were rushed to the hospital). The human body is the strongest at certain times of the hours during the day and if they were lucky, their body could fight to stay alive, however, if the accident occurred early in the morning (like Diana, Princess of Wales who died hours later in hospital at 4 am) the survival chance is very minimal.

Yea, I get attached to my work, but when my employer shows initiative and hard work, they get the same from me. If they decide to go play golf all day, then I dick off on the PC.

I majored in Political Science... Just as useless.

You can do anything, Alex... Trust me.
