Dan, everything is worth nothing until sometimes pays for it. In this case, you got it for what it's worth, because that is what it was sold to you for.

I used to argue this with card collectors. My cards aren't worth crap 'cause I ain't selling 'em!

right on! i'm happy though it has alot of life left too it. it was owned by a retired narcotics intelligence officer that worked for the CIA for 30 years. he lived down by capital hill. sold his house, made an easy (at least) mill and bought a farm up here in orchard country, pa, bought a 06 tacoma cash and will be buying a Prius from me ina month

they were really nice people too! he said he actually hated working for the CIA but he stuck it out and is probably CHUH-ILLIN on benefits from the Fed.
