it's true tho.. s02's in the winter make you a better driver becuase it teaches you to control the car better.... and if you can control the car perfectly on s02's in the winter.. imagine how well you'll be off in the summer time when those s02's are sticking to the pavement like glue..
All the control one needs to harness is in the right foot.

Yeah, you can run ok. I ran my first winter on S02s. The thing is that people seem to be crashing their cars left and right because they are running on S02s in inappropriate conditions. I wonder how many of the recent totallings would not have happened with all-season tires.

On top of that, when it rains and it is below 40... and if sleet/snow starts falling... ugh.

Personally I would rather not run the risk of totalling my car, just for a measly .02g of dry grip.
on the tires causing accidents!

People are responsible for accidents. Driving beyond the limits of the car or personal skill are still indicative of individual error. No other way around it.

Guns don't kill people. People kill people.

Mark, the newer sets are better at smoothing out SD broadcasts. But once you've been spoiled by HD programming, everything else looks like poo!

And there is quite a bit of HD programming nowadays when compared to when I first got my newly departed Pio.

Btw, I've got that scratchy/sore throat with mild congestion. Feel like donkey-doo.
