90 days. The good news is the owner of my company told me that an hour before the sale is done he is giving me a slice of the company so I get some money out of the deal, not enough to retire on, but a nice windfall. I just need to figure out the tax angle on all of it. He also told me they want me to sign a contract which will probably involve a nice raise for as long as it lasts. I've never signed a contract for a job before and I am not sure how I feel about the no compete clauses but I think if I don't sign the deal might be for less as they want to contract the key employees as part of the deal. Smart move on their part but I am actually easily replacable but it might take more than one person.
