well one of my RICH friends parents is selling their house, and dont want to deal with moving their hottub, so they offered to sell it to me extremely cheap, so im just wondering about how much it will cost to have it wired up. they said that spent almost 8K on the tub alone last year, and are going to GIVE it to me for 1500 with the cover and all the accessories. its nice, has 2 motors, waterfalls, fiberoptic lighting etc etc.

No doubt that there are a lot of people in trouble in 3-5 years when all of those ARMS come due and it will defintely crush a lot of real estate markets. I thnk the biggest problem areas will be where investors have gobbled up a lot of stuff and they will just bail out, condo market will get hit hard for sure.
I'm not that worried in my area as the DC metro area even in bad times usually just goes flat with maybe a 1-2% decline. Defintely not worried for myself in particualr as the hosue can literally drop %50 and I'll be in the black,
Good time to be a renter by the way although the rents up here are finally starting to climb a little.
