The garage is still not what I really, really want but, honestly, I think it is the best I am going to get without moving out to the sticks and doing a custom design build. Its a couple feet wider and several feet longer than what I have now. Plus that space to the side of the stairs absolutely screams workbench and cabinets. It intend to take my time and make it what I want to get the most out of it.

New house is close to old house. About a mile.

Having a few extra feet in depth can make a huge difference. When is projected build date?

It's only an estimate because they haven't even started yet but they are telling us closing late December.

The foundation and framing goes up quick, everything else seems to take longer.
