I like that but the access from the garage through to the laundry and master suite is... odd. I'd rather the garage go right into the kitchen, I think.

laundry can act as mud room, and you can go to the entry hallway and avoid the master suite... there is a pocket door there

yeah me too. i really liked it actually. i was very close to trying to find land and just selling my house. getting a cheap trailer after getting septic and water and power ran, then starting to save for building this.

i just can't do that right now in my life. so instead i'm going to screw myself for 10-15 years with being nearly 95% owed on my house because of the divorce and will take me getting down to 80% owed to be able to sell and set the plan in motion.


that or get a substantial raise so i can start putting money away for it. that will NEVER happen at my current place of work.

I saw that but it goes to the living room. I do not like the thought of having to carry my groceries through half the house to get to the kitchen. Pocket door or not. I'd need to get a little cart or a man-servant to do it for me.

Amazing house though. I'd agree with Jeff and the weird garage to Master bedroom layout. But then again. Keep the MB and garage and rent out the rest of the house.
