You've got a few months before you need to move it to the new garage.
I got the old oil pump out yesterday. That felt kind of pivotal so I sort of stopped there. I did take the time to clean all the burnt grime n'whatnot off the exhaust side and clean the timing cover. Assembly will start by installing the new oil pump the next chance I get to pick up tools.

Also... I may have used my kitchen sink as a parts washer. What Bobbie doesn't know won't hurt me.

If I take the top rack out, the oil pan might just fit in my dishwasher. The "super scrubber mode" might be just what I need.

Oven cleaner does well cleaning the built up varnish looking stuff.
