So, did you ever think you would be the world traveler when you got out of school, Chip?

This week is Spring Break for the two school districts I drive through in NoVA - Loudoun and Farifax. I guess technically Spring Break isn't a "holiday" but since the kiddies aren't in school, A LOT of people took off work so it certainly feels like one. The parking lot around my office building is somewhere between 1/2 and 2/3'rds capactiy. It is usually completely full by 9 am.

I did my ignore dress code thing when I started. I lasted about 2 weeks until I was reminded I couldn't wear jeans to work except for Friday. So yeah, badass.

Same here. Williamson county schools are closed for Spring Break - therefore school board is not working - therefore no traffic (not that I deal with that) and plenty of parking.

Evan turned me on to this stuff called "Motsenbocker's Lift Off Cault Remover." It comes in a spray bottle but it is so thick it barely sprays. It is sort of like a super thick Goo-Gone... Let it sit for a minute or two and it will take just about any kind of adhesive off of just about anything. Doesn't seem to bother plastics either. I used it on my tub to remove all sorts of old gunk. It seriously works!

I've see those things used on TV and they seem to work well. Only thing is all the friction they have to generate makes me nervous. Heat does bad things sometimes.
