I have speakers now and my supervisor is leaving in like fifteen minutes.

This is a pretty cool article:

A bunch of guys chased after a total lunar eclipse in a super-sonic Concorde jet back in 1973.

I am amazed at how many are still amazed at the size of our monitors in our office. I fear that once they go, the company that bought us a few years back will not replace them with the same, even though they are LESS that the dual monitor setup other offices use. We have 39" UHD units on our desks But like I said, they were purchased for less than what the current dual monitor setups cost us.

But, I have already broken my recently adopted rule, that once the company is large enough for an HR dept, it is time to start looking for another job I have been reminded a lot why I made that rule.

39" would be neato but overkill for what I do.

Same here. My supervisor has a pair of them on his desk and he loves them but I think it is too much - I'd go blind sitting in front of that for 40 hours a week. I'm fine with my pair of 20's.

I normally have mutliple files open, including project schedules, multiple spec documents, etc ... so I use it a ton. I can fit 4 windows on screen and keep them a decent size. Some folks prefer the dual 20's, but I have gotten very much hooked on my huge monitor

I work at an engineering firm, so big monitors are utilized pretty heavily.

I have a 27" and a 23" on each side, that works really well for me, much more and it would just be too big I think. gigity
