I just need to keep reminding myself how much better traffic is at off hours and how much more of my afternoon I get back. I can do this...

Nice! I like Maine (and Acadia) a lot.

There are lots of good eats and drinks in Portland. It's a nice stopping point on the way up. Going all the way to Acadia/Bar Harbor in one day was a little much my first trip. This summer we stayed over in Portland the first day.

Can recommend The Great Lost Bear (best wings ever), and Pai Men Miyake (mmm ramen and beer), and I'm sure everything else on this list is good too: https://maine.eater.com/maps/best-ma...beer-bars-pubs

It's probably changed a lot since I was there and they were doing all the packaging by hand.

Great lost bear was awesome! I also highly recommend.

Also Ebenezer's is beer mecca. They have the most amazing stuff you won't find any place else. Out of the way for sure, but worth it.

We also really enjoyed Novare Res Bier Cafe lots of amazing belgians.

Great list Matt.
