According to my calculations, we've saved about $200 with the solar panels. But in that savings is about 1MwH that we have banked and about $50 in credits from BGE.
I think we wont have a BGE bill until Christmas. But we will still have a small Vivint bill.
All in all, I'd say it was worth it, but if you can buy the panels outright, that may be the way to go.

I just looked at my bill. Since they do not call out the per KwH rate, I just did the math - total KwH used divided by amount of bill. Give as a rate of $8.98 per KwH.

Which doesn't make much sense--If I look to the horizon, I can see the steam from the power plant--James and Aaron can probably smell the plant, but we pay more than you, who most likely has to take a bus and a plane to get to your generating station.
