of which none will I see more than likely... I plan to be more less tethered to whatever the group will or won't be doing. I'm serving time basically.

For XboxOne, of course... I would recommended the Complete Edition. We all got it while it was heavily discounted a few weeks ago but the price has, unfortunately, gone back up. If you buy just the regular game, you won't have any of the "Year 2" content and I suspect you won't be able to play with us at all.
I just have the base game, no year one or year two stuff. You can play with anyone who has any version of the game, but it costs like 25,000 credits to unlock operators that are in Y1/Y2. I just don't play those guys.

WAT? Where where you with this info weeks ago? I thought you had to have the year 2 stuff - like they were expansion packs or additional maps n'whatnot. Having the different operators is kinda nice since they make it more playable but the rest of it is BS.

I got the complete and it has, well, everything. Plus I got some in game stuff right away (didn't have to work for it). At the time, the cost difference wasn't substantial so it didn't make a difference. Now, though, the Gold Edition may be the better value.
nah I had the retail box from a year or so ago... just never got around to playing it.

I won't have time either. I have to get ready for my trip - the goal is to be packed and ready to hit the road before we go to bed Tuesday night.

I thought I told you this, maybe in our other chat, but here's the closing thing I mentioned in here.

I did realize I have $10 off anything at BBuy, so I may buy the Year 2 upgrade ($30 normally)

What you linked to above talks about the upgrade from year 1 to year 2. Nothing to say that you don't need to upgrade. That is what I think would have been helpful in my purchasing decision.
