I mean that's just a bit much unless the phone can start my car and kill people etc

The only reason I was mentally/financially able to accept getting a 7 plus was because I made other adjustments to my bill that made the monthly payment of service + financing the phone less than what I had been paying for service alone. I don't think there is going to be a repeat of that unless AT&T lowers the costs of the plans. Significantly.

I mean... It's a computer that does lots and lots of things. Do I even still use it as a phone? I don't think so... But justifying that kind of spend for the "lots and lots" of things that it doesn't do while it sits in my car all day is really, really hard.
