That would probably mean three stops instead of two but they would be a lot shorter... 90 minutes total? Not so bad, I guess... But I have got to argue the "stressful" factor. It would take some serious "getting used to" to be able to cruise comfortably at 70 to 7-5 mph while not being in control. I'd be constantly second guessing the car and paying probably more attention to what was going on around me "just in case."

I am all about autonomous driving for the idiots who can't seem to avoid banging into stuff but I am not so sure I am ready to give in. That probably makes me a big part of the problem, though.

The movie will be here in a few months so I am not all that anxious to find out "everything I can." I want to go in with an open mind. I think enjoyed Rogue 1 a lot because I didn't know what to expect.

Welcome to fatherhood.
It is a horrid drive. YOu either have to go by Philly, NYC and Boston or drive way the **** out of the way. Grandparents will watch baby.

We are going to go way the **** out of the way. Because we are already so far west of 95, it actually isn't that much longer to go up through Harrisburg and stay west of NYC on 81 and 84. We could even go 78 through Pennsylvania and 287 in Jersey to get around NYC and dump us right into Connecticut along the Tappen-Zee bridge. I have gone both of those ways many times and neither are bad traffic wise. It certainly isn't a pretty drive - at least until you get to Connecticut (and that is arguable) - but there won't be much headache.

But... Yea... Not especially looking forward to that part of the trip.
