When i first painted my house, I def learned things. For starters, i used an eggshell coat which has a sheen to it. It really shows imperfections.

This time around, i wanna do the walls flat colors to hide that. The wall behind my tv i wanna paint a darker grey/blackish color while the side walls i wanna do a lighter grey.

My kitchen is already a black color but it could stand to be repainted with a flat color. I do like that it's dark colored tho.

I haven't decided if i just wanna repaint the kitchen the same smoke black, but in flat.....orrrrr...paint the kitchen the same dark grey that I wanna do on the wall behind the tv.

Flat paints cannot be scrubbed. Do at least a eggshell in the kitchen.

I wanted to get the scrubbable flat paint.

I've not once had to wash my walls in the kitchen. I installed a metallic backsplash all on the wall where the sink and stove is, etc. the rest is away from anything that can touch it with cooking stuff.

although, i don' tknow how "scrubbable" those scrubbable flat paints are...:
