Been thinking of building a freestanding deck in my back yard.

I've inquired some people about it, but ultimately, i'm sure I would need to go through county to see what max size i can build, how far from the fence and what is code, etc.

I just wanted to do build something simple. Like, 2 feet high, railings on the sides and back side of the deck, but just a step in front of the deck. Something to put a gazebo and a couple of tables on.

Find a builder and ask them for an estimate and plans. Might cost you a little but they will have the best information on what is ok per the county.

Agreed. I consider myself handy with building chit. But, never built a deck and don't wanna risk doing it wrong or even out of code and get in trouble.

Soooo....today is still FE². If you worked or not does not affect the calendar, just like the regular calendar. The rules of the Zekonian calendar are fixed and cannot be changed due to you work schedule.
