Also looks A LOT like FreeNAS and probably has the same setup challenges. I'm not a fan of using USB drives as serious, long term storage either. Still... As a cheap exercise? Humm.....

So... for once i have some S2000 news. I have plan to ask my company's owner if i were to clean out the "shed" behind the building if i could put my S2000 in there and work on it on weekends etc so i don't have to drive to York anytime i want to work on it. I'd have to put a little bit of money into it to make sure i can lock it up properly but it would be worth it. Also, that means a buddy of mine will be able wrench on it with me, which would be fun.

What is in the shed now? What is the S2000 exit strategy if you leave that company?

hopefully it will be on the road before that happens... but if i unexpectedly need to leave... then i bring it back to york or store at my place in a car port i would purchase.
