Are you catching any rainwater?

I have actually been thinking about that one, too. I have one downspout that catches about 1/4 of the roof. It also drains to a really bad spot. If I could capture that and do something with it (besides making baby mosquitoes), it would be a good thing.

I am not catching any rainwater. Of all the downspouts I have, the only one that this would make sense with is right in front of the house. Aint nobody want to see that.

I looked into it but it would take about 50 years for a rain barrel to pay for itself in water savings. They are not very economical.
