I had a very odd experience yesterday. I met a woman who dated my dad when they were teenagers.

Long story short... A woman that my mother was very good friends with (named Linda) passed away last week. My sister was very good friends with Linda's daughters so we stopped in on our way home from Philly to see them. This is where it gets odd... Linda's husband (named Jay) has a bunch of brothers and sisters. They were all there visiting, of course. I was introduced as "Marty's son" and this woman recognized me immediately. It helps that I look a lot like my dad. She comes up to me and says that she dated my dad some 50 years ago. Would have been late 50's / early 60's.

I don't ever remember meeting her but I know that both my parents and Jay's family grew up in that same town and everybody knew everybody (small town in South Jersey). But I got to be honest, it was just weird meeting her.
