Default WHOO HOO!

HEY! Just picked up my S2000 on wednesday last week!!! It's SOOOO PURTY!

It's a 2000 model. does anyone know why it might kinda make a faint grinding noise in 1st and 2nd gear around 1000-2000 RPM?... it goes away above 2000 RPM, but it sounds kinda faint. I'll post pics of the car later today ^_^... WHOOT WHOOT!!! I can't wait to get off work and drive home!!! hahaha

Cool,

Don't know what to make of the noise. Is it when you're decellerating? You might need the deceleration buzz TSB done. Speaking of TSB's, since you have an 00 model, check out any TSB that might need to be done. Here are a few sites:

Remember, not all these need to be done but are common problems that can often times be fixed for free by the dealers. Good luck with your S

Sounds like you are bogging. You shouldn't be less than 2000 rpm in any gear or the car starts to bog.
