Default P1399 Need Help!

I have a 2002 Suzuka blue S2000 with 105000 miles on it. I recently took a road trip from GA to TX +/- 900 miles. After I filled up at a Valero gas station, the car started shaking and bogging down the CEL started blinking, I drove it back to the house and it would be fine at times and all of a sudden it would start shaking and bogging down again. I am new to the Honda community and have no clue what could be causing this issue. I drove the car back to GA and everything was well, however when I got to my house in GA the car started acting up again. My uncle hooked the car up to his code reader and the only code that popped up was a P1399, after clearing the code, the car ran fine for another 20 miles or so, and now it's been misfiring and bogging down since then.

hmmmm bad gas is all that comes to mind!?!?! go to autozone and get a free diagnostic ran on it. they will be able to tell you what that code actually means and then you can run with it from there.

Bad gas is what I thought too, but I have filled up at 4 other gas stations and the problem is still there, I will be heading to Autozone ASAP. Thanks.

yeah the bad gas could have done some serious damage to your motor so putting good gas in may not get rid of the problem. find out what the code actually means and i may be able to guide you a little better from there. sorry im not much help yet. hope you get it all sorted out bro. let me know when you find out, good luck.

hey from the manual it says code P1399 is a misfire

And it says theres a DTC code you can find either: P0301 P0302 P0303 P0304 that will tell you what cylinder P0301 = cyl 1 P0302 cyl 2 etc

I would check your plugs and maybe try swapping your coils/plugs over
At 105000 miles the plugs are definitely due for a change and maybe coils too.

I just bought an F150 a few months back that started to shudder and misfire like crazy!
I thought I'd been ripped off but I took it and they changed a coil pack and it runs sweet now

Can't hurt to run some injector cleaner thru there as well if you think you got some shitty gas

thats a great idea too. start out small and work your way to the more expensive fixes. plugs and injector cleaner is always a great start. good luck bro. let us know.
