argh i was forced to toss in regular with the gas shortages around here! i had a little under a 1/4 tank of 93 in before i put another 1/4 tank of 87. is there a fuel additive i can go get?

any octane booster should do. Take it easy on her though until you can get some real premium gas. I personally use Torco since we only get 90 octane in Alaska, but it is kind of spendy and you cant get it at a parts store like schucks or napa. At least up here you cant. I have to get it from a performance shop.

Toluene from a paint supply store works well. It's ~114 octane if I remember correctly.

I accidently put 87 octane in my car friday before last due to a certain local station filing all the tanks up with 87. I got gas from there 3 time and didn't realize it until I went back and they had finally posted a sign stating that.
